Ranveer Singh is not like any regular filmy guy who gets on the top, he is different. His quirkiness has gotten him a special place in women’s heart especially those who dig crazy bearded guys. With big hits and ‘Padmavati’ coming up, there is no questioning his rise to stardom. He recently shared his thoughts on women and his preferences
Talking about understanding gender equality, he said in an interview with Maxim magazine-, “It has got a lot to do with my upbringing. My mom is the center of my universe, as is my second mother – my elder sister, who’s two years older. Growing up in an environment with strong women around me has shaped who I am. Even when I was a copywriter, my boss was a woman. I’m also in the line of work where I’m surrounded by women. Plus, having studied in the U.S., I have a deep sense of gender equality.”
He went on to talk about his preferences in women, “My romantic liaisons have also been with really strong, independent women and that has a lot to do with it as well.” He added “Women have a wonderful gift of taking the edge off of everything. I much prefer collaborating with women, as I find them to be a lot more patient, accepting of new ideas. I prefer the female energy to the male energy. And they’re sensitive.”
Well, he sure knows how to impress. Soon, Ranveer will be seen playing the role of an antagonist who is infatuated with the beauty of Queen Padmavati in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Padmavati’. He will also be working with director Zoya Akhtar for her next flick and will be paired with Alia Bhatt in ‘Gully Boy’. Cannot wait to watch him at the movies!
