Here Are All The Winners Of 70th Cannes Film Festival 2017

70th edition of one of the world’s greatest film festival is over. Ironically, Cannes has become more about the fashion than the movies for the world. But the number of awesome films showcased there keeps the integrity of the Festival intact. Pedro Almodovar headed this year’s Jury that included Hollywood stars Will Smith & Jessica Chastain.

Sofia Coppola became only the second woman in history to win best director for her battle-of-the-sexes drama ‘The Beguiled’ with Nicole Kidman and Colin Farrell.

Three-time Oscar nominee Joaquin Phoenix got best actor for ‘You Were Never Really Here’. Reminding that it is not the win of the mainstream over such a prestigious film fest but the win of content over mainstream cinema, the Cannes 2017 concluded with pride.

Palme: The Square by Ruben Östlund
