After spending 17 years garnering international culinary experience and playing consultant to many popular kitchens in the city, Chef Gracian de Souza has finally taken the much-awaited leap of going back to his Goan roots for his first solo project Porto & Poie. Porto & Poie’s culinary landscape is an adulation to the flavours, ingredients, history and spirit of Goa and Portugal. The menu has more than 55 dishes, and each of them are Chef Gracian’s “culinary narrations” of his favourite Goan and Portuguese dishes. The cocktails at Porto & Poie have been designed by Chef Gracian and mixologist Eluther Gomes.
Early evening diners will be able to enjoy the sunset over wine, cocktails and small plates. A cozy balcon area will transport you to a Goan-Portuguese villa, and is ideal for easy drinking, dining and chilling. The décor is specked with Goan and Portuguese tiles along with plates designed with iconic figurines and phrases of Goan rural life.
Currently, Porto & Poie is just open for cocktails and dinner only. So, what are you waiting for, book a table to feel Goa in Mumbai!
